Event Description:

Storytelling is an important part of visual culture. In this course, we’ll be drawing from personal and communal anecdotes to understand how storytelling works in different contexts. We’ll be looking at examples of storytelling in contemporary art, as well as the everyday. Using different techniques - from zines, to comics, performance, etc - we’ll explore how to use our voice through our creativity. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to participate. This will be a relaxed course that focuses on how stories are built, as well as working on conceptual approaches.
